First Saturday of each month: 9:15 A.M. - 10:15 A.M.

Every Thursday: 7;00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Eucharistic Adoration

First Friday of every month: 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M

Every Thursday: 7:00 P.M -8:00 P.M.

First Saturday of every month: 9:15 - 10:15 A.M. with Confession opportunity

Mass time for Holy days is typically 8:30am & 7:30pm. Please check the bulletin for the latest update.

Snow Emergency Cancellation Policy

Daily Masses will ONLY be cancelled if FCPS (Frederick County Public School, Frederick, Maryland) is closed. If FCPS is on delay we will have Mass at usual time.

Weekend Masses will take place at the usual times for those who can make it unless we are in a State of Emergency! Use your own good judgement when attempting to attend Mass, we want you to be safe.

*OFFICE NOTICE: During inclement weather the office follows FCPS closing, if they close, we are closed. If there is no school and the snow emergency plan is in effect, we will be closed.

  • Baptism

    Parents wishing to have their child baptized at St. Joseph's must be a registered parishioner and must attend a baptismal prep class with the Godparents. Please contact the Parish Office to arrange your class before the birth of your child.

  • Marriage

    Couples planning to be married are required to contact the Pastor at least one year before the planned marriage date.  All engaged couples are required to attend an Archdiocesan approved Pre Cana program.

  • Anointing of the Sick

    For those who are seriously ill or of advanced age, please call the Parish Office.

  • Ministry to the Sick

    Holy Communion will be brought to any person who is permanently or temporarily homebound or in Nursing Care Facilities. Please contact the Parish Office and Sr. Helen Marie King, D.C will respond to your needs.

  • Meets on Sundays at 12:30 P.M.. Please see bulletin for meeting location.

  • Sessions for kindergarten through 8th grade are held twice a month, 9:00 A.M. - 10:10 A.M. in the parish hall. Please contact Doria Wolfe with any questions. Contact the parish office if you need to register as a parishioner.

  • Young people must be attending a Catholic School or our Parish Faith Formation for two years immediately prior to entering into the preparation programs for these Sacraments.
